Pixel Lineage ancient portal: what the video says

A player video puts the Ancient Portal in the starting area, for places you started at and a party teleport. Cost, level, and menu are not stated.

Where the speaker puts the portal

The Ancient Portal in the saved source is a starting-area unlock, not a late-game map. Near the end of Pixel Lineage Beginner Guide - The BEST Start for New Players!, the speaker says: unlock the Ancient Portal in the starting area. That is the only place the transcript puts it.

This page repeats that player. It is not an official description, and this site did not enter the starting area to confirm the portal is there. The saved transcript does not give a model, an on-screen label, or a quest name. This pass did not watch the video, so that gap is not proof the picture has none of those. If your starting area has no portal, the video does not give a second location.

The same video mentions a different teleport earlier. After a hard fight, the speaker says to hit Return Home at the bottom left and you are teleported back to town. That control is not called the Ancient Portal. Do not treat the town return as proof the portal is already open.

What unlocking it is said to allow

The speaker gives the portal two travel lines, back to back.

First: it lets you return to anywhere you would like that you started off at. The destination in that sentence is a place you already started, not a place the video promises you can see from town.

Second: with the portal unlocked, you can also teleport to any act you want. The transcript does not name the acts, does not say an act must be cleared, and does not say an act you have never entered is included. "Any act you want" is the speaker's claim. "Places you started off at" is the other claim. The video does not reconcile them, so this page will not pick a winner.

Spoken limitHow to read itWhat not to add
In the starting areaThat is the only location namedNo later zone, no dungeon entrance
Return to where you started offA destination you already beganNo fog reveal, no new node
Teleport to any act you wantActs are the named destination typeNo act count, no act order
If you don't buy this, restart from the very startThe speaker's own restart adviceNo price, no proof the buy is mandatory

"Buy" is in the sentence. The amount is not. The video never says gold, an item, a level, or a vendor. Leaving the cost blank is the accurate version.

Who can use the teleport

The speaker adds a party line right after the act line. "This also works for the party. If your friends don't have it unlocked, you guys can teleport to a certain act together."

Read that as a boundary, not as a full co-op system.

PersonWhat the transcript supportsWhat it does not support
The player who unlocked the portalCan return to places they started at, and can teleport to any act they want, in the speaker's wordsThat every menu option is tested
A friend who has not unlocked itCan still be in a teleport to a certain act with the groupThat the friend now owns the portal
The party as a groupThe speaker says the portal works for the partyHow many players, or who must stand at the portal

"A certain act" is narrower than "any act you want." The video uses both phrases and does not explain the difference. This page keeps both. It does not invent a rule that the party can only visit the host's furthest act, or that every member must have started that act.

The speaker does not say the portal pulls friends in from outside your run, saves a friend's progress, or opens their starting area. The only party fact in this passage is the shared teleport to a certain act.

What the speaker says if you skip it

"If you don't buy this, I'd restart from the very start though." That is the speaker saying what they would do. It is not a tested penalty. The transcript does not say the game forces a restart, deletes the character, or locks later acts forever.

The advice still has a planning point. The speaker puts the unlock in the starting area and treats skipping the purchase as a reason to begin again. Look for it before you treat the opening as finished. The video does not say the portal moves to a later town if you miss it.

Return Home, in the speaker's early line, is the bottom-left control that sends you back to town. The transcript does not say that control still works if you buy the portal, or if you do not. Town return and act teleport stay different sentences. The town control does not replace the act teleport the portal lines describe.

What stays unknown

QuestionStatus in this video
Where is it?Starting area, as spoken. No building name.
What does it cost? The speaker says "buy" and gives no number.
What level or quest opens it?Not said.
Which acts appear?"Any act you want," with no list. Do acts you never started appear? The return line cuts against that, and the video never settles it.
Can a friend without the portal come?Yes, to a certain act together, as spoken.
Does the friend unlock it by coming? Not said.
Is Return Home this portal? No. Different sentence, different destination: town.

Nothing in the passage describes nodes, fog, towers, slabs, materials, or a cooldown. Those are not withheld details. They are absent. Other topics in the same beginner video, including classes and sigils from the fifth act, are not portal requirements.

FAQ

Where is the Ancient Portal?

The speaker says to unlock it in the starting area. The transcript gives no second location, no building, and no quest name. This site did not check the area in-game.

What destinations does it open?

Two spoken answers: anywhere you started off at, and any act you want. A party can teleport to a certain act together even if friends have not unlocked the portal. The saved transcript does not give an act list or a menu. This pass did not watch the video, so that is not proof the picture has neither.

How much does it cost?

Unknown. The speaker says "if you don't buy this," then says they would restart from the very start. No gold amount, item, or level is stated.

What if a friend has not unlocked it?

The speaker says you can still teleport to a certain act together. The line does not say the friend unlocks their own portal by joining, and it does not say every act is available to that group.
